I WAS AFRAID OF LINKING UNTIL I READ ABOUT IT IN “THE NET EFFECT”

For months, I had been shooting myself in the foot (both feet actually) and I did not even know it until I read a “research article” together with a “traffic & marketing article” on “linking” in THE NET EFFECT – Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon new monthly publication. As a result of repeatedly shooting myself in the feet, I discovered I accumulated 10 times more holes in my feet than I had toes.
You see, I had been looking for “links” to my website to help increase my search engine rankings, traffic, clicks, and conversions. I managed to get some traffic to my website with comments left for me to moderate. Majority of these comments together with several url’s were in languages I could not understand. I tried to google some of the words but results were “terms” I couldn’t make heads or tails with. I also followed some of the url’s and opened up websites; and those sites were in languages I didn’t understand. In order to moderate these comments, I was to do one of three things – approve the comment, mark comment as spam, or delete comment. Since I did not understand those comments, I simply moderated them as spam and deleted them from my website. I probably deleted over 100 such comments with several url’s attached to each.
After reading Leslie Rhode’s and Don Crowther’s articles on linking in The Net Effect, I realized that those comments together with all of those url’s, which were sent to my website, were actually a good thing and should never had been deleted. By deleting those comments repeatedly, I was afraid of links and I was essentially shooting myself in the foot – significantly hurting my chances for better search engine rankings. I went back looking to see how I could undelete all those comments for approval. Unfortunately, those comments were gone forever, I think. If anyone can develop a technology to go back and undo mistakes such as what I described above, I think there may be a niche market for it.
I say all of the above to say the following:
The contents in The Net Effect have taught me so much about internet marketing in less than one week versus what I attempted to learn in several months of IM training. Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon certainly have a $Billion well oiled machine in their possession with their Stompernet2.0 System. I was very fortunate to get exposed to it. I am not sure who actually convinced me to sign up. I know it was either Michael Filsaime or Michael Cheney. Thank you Michael, you are both great salesmen and great people. I will continue to follow you guys.
With what I have learned about linking so far in The Net Effect, I will make every effort to link with anyone who sends me a comment, with url’s attached, whether from earth or from mars. I now have to figure out how to make those link traffics turn into clicks and conversions.
The Net Effect is comprehensive, easy to read, follow and understand, content rich, extremely useful, and practical - when I read the Vision Mindset section, I swore Andy was talking about me.
Your Net Effect’s Volume 1, Issue 1 is worth its weight in diamond not gold. Thank you guys!
To: Andy, Brad, and the entire Stompernet Faculty - Thank you.
